C.S. Lewis once said that “If your dreams don’t scare you… they aren’t big enough.” We had big dreams for The School At Higher Ground. We envisioned an environment where capable children, limited only by opportunity, could be exposed to academic excellence and Christian values. Their limitations, given only in their minds, would be erased by a challenging curriculum and exceptional teachers. Their imagination would make their possibilities endless.

We are now completing our fourth year. It was that fearful period between our dream and reality. We have learned that if you can dream it and God is in it… He will make it happen. So we will continue to dream big and work hard, knowing that the only limit to what The School can achieve is the depth of our determination to follow the Lord’s leadership.

We look forward to challenges for the future. Growth will present problems and opportunities. We will continue to follow the standards that have produced academic excellence… The best curriculum, twelve per classroom, and an exceptional staff. Our mantra… “Academic Excellence with Christian values” will never change. A school unashamedly Christian and unashamedly patriotic!
